Working Group: K-12 Education Improvement The group will work to replace an emphasis on Whole School Reform (WSR) with concentration on Core Curriculum Content Standards (CCCS) as the drivers of school improvement. The group should bolster the capacity of the 30 Abbott districts to help improve the instructional culture in 434 schools. The group should encourage teachers, principals, parents, and administrators to acquire the habit of data-driven, standards-based instruction.
