in Concert" Best Show in Town

Over
200 students from Camden, Elizabeth, Irvington, Keansburg,
Long Branch, New Brunswick, Newark, Passaic, and Paterson
came together to create the best performance in "Kids
in Concert's" five-year history. On Thursday, May 16,
2002 the 1800 seat State
Theatre New Brunswick was filled to capacity with
anaudience eager to witness nine of the thirty Abbott districts
perform original pieces ranging from African dance to acoustic
guitar-playing. The participating children rehearsed for a
day and a half prior to the start of the show at 7:30 p.m.
